This explains what Actual Footy collects, why, and who helps us run the service. We keep it to what we need to give you the intelligence and run your membership — nothing more.
We don't sell your data. We use a small set of trusted providers to run the service, each handling only what they need:
| Provider | What for |
|---|---|
| Stripe | Payments and subscription billing |
| "Sign in with Google" (only if you use it) | |
| PostHog | Product analytics (usage) |
| Amazon Web Services | Hosting and data storage |
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the service, our members or the public.
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in — that's essential for the service to work. We also use analytics to understand usage. We don't use advertising trackers.
We keep your account information while your account is active and for as long as we need it to meet legal, tax and security obligations. When you ask us to delete your account, we remove your personal information except anything we're required to retain.
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to close your account. Reach us through the contact page and we'll help. You can stop analytics tracking with your browser's privacy controls.
Passwords are hashed, connections are encrypted in transit, and access to account data is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, but we take protecting your data seriously.
We'll post any updates here with a new "last updated" date. If a change is significant, we'll make a reasonable effort to let you know.
